A pristine and rare gold snake chain c1890 - 1900, quite exceptional in its weight, quality and condition!

The gleaming, mellow yellow gold has been thoroughly tested as solid 14/15K throughout, with a rubbed old English control tag on one termination link which is no longer legible.

As you can see in the video, it pools like a gleaming liquid and wraps like a real live snake, the articulated links beautifully smooth and all perfect, no dints, no dents!

It can be lavishly draped and wrapped in a variety of ways.

Large secure dog clip to one end (also 15K), ideal for suspending charms and pendants, large or small!

MEASUREMENTS: An impressive 49.3g in weight. 59" in total length, not including the dog clip. The links measure 2.5mm across.

CONDITION: Beautiful antique condition throughout, only the very smallest signs of surface wear. One faint mark where someone has probably acid tested in the past, though we may be able to polish that out!
