The top section of this super Victorian fob is composed of two snakes, their tails interwined, each head forming one arm of the hinge attached to the spinning section. Look at those little faces and curly tails!
 
Clear English 9K gold assay hallmark for Birmingham 1894.
 
The spinner is set with a really lovely bloodstone on one side in deep green with noticeable red flecking like autumn leaves! The other side is a lovely burnished orange hardstone.
 
MEASUREMENTS: Total drop including top loop just over 1 1/2". 8.8g in weight.
