We don't often go for cameos, but this one is just such good value...! It's very nicely carved with a pretty, scrolled 9K rose gold (marked) mount. Made in late Victorian era c1890 - 1900, the shell cameo features a classical lady in profile with toga draped around her shapedly shoulder. The surround is formed of a series of linked gold scrolls. The gold has a lovely antique bloom which could be polished up to a higher shine if desired (we have not polished at all). Good sized 9K jump ring bail to the top which is a more yellow shade than the mount.
