An extremely sweet, late Georgian locket pendant c1830 - 1840 with deeply chased engraving of chubby flowers on both sides. Tests as silver, original ribbed hanging loop to the top looks like gold (not tested). There are no photo frames inside, it would be more suitable for holding a memento or as a pill holder. It clicks shut securely.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx 16mm in diameter. 3.6g in weight.

CONDITION: Good, wearable condition for its great age, one side has been worn as the 'back' historically so is more worn than the other side which shows hardly any wear. A little patch of worn-off gilding to the 'front', this half also has slight gilding inside. Please view all close-up photos. Any display boxes/chains are used for photography purposes only.
