A very attractive pair of antique moss agate earrings with silver settings and wires of 9/10K (tested). With a gently dished back, we would date them to the late Georgian or earlier Victorian era. The specimens of moss agate have been chosen to display interesting internal striations and mossy shadows, of coffee brown in a caramel background.
To each ear wire is an extremely glittery, rose cut 'diamond' paste, these are very much like real diamonds and have an intense, clear, almost mirrored flash in the light.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx 7/8" total drop. 3/8" across drops. 1.86g together.
CONDITION: Very good, wearable antique condition for their great age - please view all close-up photos. Any display boxes/chains shown are for display purposes only.
