A very striking late 1800s wide silver cuff bangle with rose gold accents, marked with double boar's head French silver standard stamps to the clasp. The design is formed of very ornate pierced designs of old heraldic symbols - crowned eagles, with applied rose gold-coated stylised Crosses of Lorraine between them, and smaller ones on their backs. Further gilding to the top and bottom rim of each half.

The big wide concealed box clasp fastens very securely. A lovely oxidation patina to the silver which we haven't attempted to polish back adds to the eye-catching look of this complicated piece.

MEASUREMENTS: 7 inches internal circumference. Width 1 1/8". 40.3g in weight.

CONDITION: Good, wearable antique condition, please view all close-up photos. There is a little piece of the design missing near the hinge on the rear side, a little ding inwards also on the rear side, and several of the eagles' tail plumes have turned over or gone missing when you look closely but the busy design makes this hard to see. The last photos highlight all these little flaws. Any display chains/boxes are used for photography purposes only.
