This gorgeous Georgian sparkler looks rather similar to the Portuguese/Spanish paste jewellery made at around the same time, but is likely English in origin. The 'diamond' foiled paste stones are precisely cut and closely fitted into the silver mount, in a daisy-like flower shape surrounded by a round halo.
The pastes are remarkably bright and glittery, white with some flashes of peach acquired with time. It's a real eye-catcher in wear and in super condition!
The nicely oxidised setting tests as solid silver and the bail loop fittings to the top, 9K gold - so will mesh well with both silver and gold chains.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx 1" diameter across the drop. 10.8g in weight.
CONDITION: Really super condition for its great age - please see all close-up photos. Any display boxes/chains are shown for photography purposes only.
